I made quiche last night and had leftover pie crust.... so I made a homemade baked Elephant Ear! Elephant ears are my favorite at any fair. This would be such a fun dessert for kids. It's a very light, flakey low calorie dessert!
I rolled out the extra pie crust from my pie crust recipe very thin. Placed the slab of dough onto a baking sheet.
Melted 1 tbls butter. Brushed it on the pie crust.
Sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar.
Baked for about 10 min at 350 (or until edges are slightly browned).
Waaalaa. Baked elephant ear. Nummy!
