Nummy Homemade Fudgy Brownies


Easy too! Makes an 8x8 pan. My husband thinks they are BETTER than boxed brownies... I'm still on the fence however, they will definitely work if you don't have any boxes!
In large pan, over medium heat until boiling, mix:
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbls butter
2 tbls water

Remove from heat and stir in 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips until melted.

Beat in:
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla

Mix in:
2/3 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Pour in greased 8x8 pan. Bake at 325 for 25 minutes. Brownies will not look done, but DO NOT bake longer that 27 minutes. Let cool and waaalaaa- fudgy brownies.



To use cocoa powder instead of chocolate chips follow this recipe.
