Home made Chocolate Pudding
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
4 tbls flour
1 tsp ground coffee (OPTIONAL)
2 cups milk
1 egg- beaten
1 tbls butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbls chocolate syrup
In medium pan combine sugars, cocoa, flour and coffee(optional). Gradually stir in milk. Cook over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Reduce heat to lowest setting and stir for 4 more minutes. Pour in beaten egg- stirring constantly. Stir in butter, vanilla and chocolate syrup and remove from heat.
Place saucepan in large bowl that is filled 1/2 way with ice water. Whisk for 2 minutes to cool. Transfer to bowl and lay plastic wrap on top of the pudding (so it doesn't create a hardened film). Refridgerate at least 2 hours before eating.
