Cookie Recipes to Try!

I've been reading this murder mystery series and the main character is the owner of a Cookie shop. The books include recipes and some of these sound to-die-for! Pun intended... So here are some from the last book I read I want to try this winter. Enjoy!

Peanut Butter Melts

Mix:
1 cup melted butter
2 cups sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 tbls honey

Add and mix:
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Mix and add:
1 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
2 beaten eggs

Mix and add:
2 1/2 cups flour

Form balls and place on greased baking pan. Flatten with fork. Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes.
**If dough is too sticky to form balls chill for a couple minutes and try again.

Little Snowballs
Mix:
1 1/2 cups melted butter
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt

Add and mix:
3 1/2 cups flour
1 cup finely chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, hazelnuts etc)

Form the dough into 1 inch balls and place them on UNgreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Let cookies cool for 2 minutes and roll in more powdered sugar. Place on a wire rack to cool completely and roll in powdered sugar a second time.
