*I only use the dough cycle and bake in the oven.
Dinner RollsHoney Wheat Dinner Rolls
Sweet. Light. Fluffy.
Add into bread machine:
1 1/4 c. warm milk
1 beaten egg
2 tbls butter softened
1/4 c. honey
3/4 tsp salt
2 3/4 c. white flour
1 cup ww pastry flour
1 1/4 tsp yeast
Run through dough cycle. Remove from machine and take large golf ball sized pieces, roll them and place on greased cooking sheet. Let rise for 1 hour. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
BreadLight Oat Bread
Put into machine on dough cycle:
1 1/4 cups water
2 tablespoons margarine
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups white flour
1 1/2 cups ww pastry flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons yeast
Remove from machine and roll up into a greased bread pan. Let rise 1 hour and then bake in preheated 350 oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Cheesy Garlic Bread
1 1/4 cups warm water
1 1/2 cups ww pastry flour
1 1/2 cups white flour
2 tbls powdered milk
2 tbls white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
2 tbls butter, softened
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
4 tsp italian seasoning
1 tablespoon yeast
Remove from machine and roll up into a greased bread pan. Let rise 30 minutes and then bake in preheated 350 oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown. (OPT: You can top with some shredded cheddar cheese and serve with garlic butter!)
**Use the cheesy garlic bread recipe to make Focaccia bread. Just roll the dough out onto a greased pizza pan- top with cheese and herbs and immediately stick in oven at 450 for 15-18 minutes.
Cinnamon Rolls
1 cup warm milk
2 eggs, room temperature
1/3 cup butter melted
2 cups ww pastry flour
2 1/2 cups white flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup white sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons yeast
Remove from machine and roll into a giant rectangle. Spread the filling within 1 inch of the edges and roll up. Slice rolls and place into a greased 9x13 pan. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes. Bake in preheated oven at 400 for 15 minutes. OPT: Spread icing. Serve warm.
For cinnamon filling: 1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1/3 cup butter, softened
For icing:
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2-3 tbls milk (or melted butter)
Orange Rolls
1/2 cup warm water
1 1/2 teaspoons orange zest
1/2 cup orange juice
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 -3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 package active dry yeast
Remove from machine and roll into a giant rectangle. Spread the filling within 1 inch of the edges and roll up. Slice rolls and place into a greased 9x13 pan. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes. Bake in preheated oven at 375 for 25 minutes. Spread icing. Serve warm.
Filling
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine, softened
Icing
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon orange juice
1 tablespoon orange zest
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
